Queen Victoria Building, Town Hall and Darling Harbour Guided Walk

This guided tour begins at the Queen Victoria Building. I will introduce you to the site that was once the first cemetery of the colony and the first stockyards and market place. We then walk down Market Street to Tumbalong (Darling Harbour) the site of indigenous shellfishing grounds and the birth of the industrial revolution in Australia. Darling Harbour was the site of the largest iron wharf in the world, and largest iron structure prior to the Eifel Tower. It was the home of the worlds first freezing works and a major ship building industry. This is a leisurely 3 hour guided tour.
